May I ask what country you're from/residing/grew up in?

Anyway, mine by genre are:

Horror
- A Tale of Two Sisters
- The Grudge 2
Action
- Fighter in the Wind
- Fearless (total rip of Fighter in the Wind IMO but still awesome)
- Battle Royale(both, and I just loved the soundtracks)

Epic/Fantasy/Action
- [A whole bunch of Hong Kong films I can't be bothered to list]
- The Promise
- Zatoichi(the original one)
- Shadowless Sword
- Duelist (only for the visuals though)

Comedy
- [A whole bunch of Hong Kong films that I can't be bothered to list, mostly along the lines of Jackie Chan movies like Police Story]
- [This Chinese film that I don't know the title of, it was a classic romance/comedy thing that I found amusing]
- My Sassy Girl

Melodrama(yeah I have poor taste)
- [This Japanese movie about a college guy dumping his totally hot girlfriend for this slutty cripple then getting back to his girlfriend]
- Bad Guy
- Daisy
- Windstruck
- Fly, Daddy Fly
- The King and the Clown

Yeah the original Godzila rocked! I'm from the UK myself. But was just checking out the tiger beer website when I spotted their greatest Asian film lists. So I decided to write my own. Didn't recognise many on there list to be honest. <<LINK REMOVED>> Cheers for the recommendations guys! Have just moved to London and there are loads more ASian films in the HMV's here so need to know what to buy! What is you favourite?

no, not really. Like, asking what your favorite music is isnt a debate. asking "which japanese film is better, A or B" is a debate. You arnt comparing anything here, just saying what films you like

Or the other 30 Asian films that I've seen and don't remember, but know I've seen. (And the original Godzilla both sucked and made no sense.)
