Mass Murderer Messages from Beyond the Grave Can't Post

Do you feel news companies should have the right to broadcast the "home videos" of mass murderers? Or does it just glorify or somehow justify what they did and inspire more like minded individuals to follow in their footsteps for their fifteen minutes of "fame"?

I have mixed feelings about this, I want to know what the killer is thinking, and usually when I find out, I just believe he is even more deranged than I first thought he was but I feel glad that I now know why he did it but if someone "angry" or mentally ill sees the video, they may understand how the killer feels and they may even feel that way at the moment, and so believes the answers to his problems would be to take revenge on those who have wronged him by killing them, taping some videos, getting the videos shown all over the world and those videos persauding another to commit attrocities.

In the case of the Columbine Basement Tapes, I believe only the parents of the victims were shown the videos (private screening). People were afraid of the very thing you mentioned. As far as Sir Cho goes, I'd have liked to read the massive written manifesto I keep reading about.

But yeah, it's probably best not to show these things to the public; you see that we've had enough copycat killings off Columbine and Red Lake as it is.

I guess it's best... but man. I really want to see the basement tapes. I really, really don't know why, lol. I just do. Maybe my curiosity is attacking again.

Yeah, it's basically curiosity for me too. But there was a complete transcript released for the tapes; at least I got to read that. I also have the Rampart Range video (when they were practicing with their guns in the woods).

If those tapes were classified as snuff films, there's plenty at Ogrish, very real and disturbing clips there, but I like them, because some of it I've never seen before.
