Sorry X we share the same thoughts on alot of things, but this is not one of them. CGC is right, the U.S. is not in any need for a women in office at the moment, and what tops it of is she is a republican. We need a well balanced democrat who will raise taxes in some of the bad areas of the country and get rid of section-8 housing.

There are people who say Obama isn't black, because his ancestors weren't slaves.

How thick can you get?

I'm not voting for the race, I'm voting for the leadership. This candidate has made his position on global warming abundantly clear, with a long speech supporting climatetologists.

Additionally, he's a self-made man - having inherited no money, and made all that he has. He knows the religions, he's tolerant of them, and he has the right ideals in mind.

He's got my vote; and hopefully it's the best birthday present ever (Voting day is one month after my birthday).

History says it doesn't really matter. America has been a world power for a very short amount of time and will be a power for not too much longer. Civilization as a whole is very very young and might not last for a whole lot longer. The human race has been on planet Earth for a very small fraction of it's existence and will probably not remain too much longer either.

No, history says you want someone new, regardless of the group they belong to, who you will end up hating anyway.

Actually it does.

Most republicans still back Bush - which is just as good as being him. Saying you back bush in only some of his policies is bull[Expletive Deleted] - "hey, I don't back Hitler's jew-killing spree, but he's cool cuz he gots da econ goin'" doesn't count for an opinion. Bush is a crazy bastard whose concern is with corporations, not with Americans - he gets different rules.

Just look at the way the republicans vote - when they were a majority, they turned down bills that would help the United States fight terrorism (ie, scanning packages for BOMBS) because it would hurt corporations. Their current support for the new democrat anti-terrorist bill is minimal, and only there for re-election purposes. They were complaining about the cost of implementation - wasn't it them that said we'll take any cost to make ourselves safer when they started calling Kerry a flip-flopping terr'ist-lovin' Moos-lem? At least that's what the facts recall.
