Pikachu vs. Riachu Can't Post

A timeless classic, however, I must disagree with the makers of the animated series of Pokémon on this discussion.

I do not believe Pikachu could have beaten Riachu, no matter how much of this "love" was given from Ash to Pikachu. Riachu was obviously much more leveled than Pikachu, given the time it would've taken for Lt. Surge to have become a gym leader. And including the countless battles he had faced as a gym leader with Riachu, Riachu had obviously trained longer than Pikachu, who had fought about five or six (maybe less) battles at that time. A thunderstone could not have even helped such a helpless predicament. But then the writers of Pokémon came up with a horrible excuse to cover it, saying that Lt. Surge had evolved Riachu too soon, not allowing it to obtain Agility. Agility is not as great as it sounded in the TV series. In fact, it is a horrible ability. I recently gave Agility to my Mr. Mime. I wasn't very satisfied. It had lost to Agatha in a battle where he was against a Pokémon that was extremely weak when he began fighting, and he lost. I threw the Pokémon away as punishment.

For these reasons, I must restate that Pikachu could not have beaten Riachu in any attempt at all in the great Thunder battle in Vermillion City and I strongly urge others to understand the impossibility of what had happened in the battle.

You're in denial; it clearly DID happen.

However, the point is, in a real battle under such circumstances, Pikachu could not have beaten Riachu under a mere technicality as I stated. The writers of Pokémon are obviously biased against those who are awesome and powerful.

Without the writers the battle could not exist.

Without the writers, the battle would have been fair. It would've existed as long as the Jappo producers did their job.

Well, I'm going to have to go with Neo on this one. If anyone remembers correctly, Ash cheated. Remember? He didn't just fill Pikachu up with "love." He filled Pikachu's cheeks up with 50,000 extra volts of electricity. Then, upon getting into the gym battle, poor little Raichu stood little chance against Pikachu's pika steroids.

Which was before the battle with Lt. Awesome. So it still affected that battle.

Because clearly if this fight was to happen in real life, the people who created the TV series, were 100% wrong, because you an avid fan who clearly knows more then the creators must be right. Add the the fact its there series they can do as they like. Now go watch something on TV worth watching examples are Dexter (no not the kid in the labatory) Prison Break or Heroes all are decent series much better then fagamon.

Because clearly, you, a person who has doesn't watch the series and has no idea what he is talking about, must be right. And the fact that this is our debate and each and every person in here has their own view of what is right, and we can post whatever we like, makes all of us in our own repectful opinion, right. Besides, like we are going to listen to someone that clearly cannot see that this debate is for fun and not to be taken seriously. Much like how are are going to listen to anyone that thinks Prison Break is a good show. Yuck! ^_^

Re: [Nish] Pikachu vs. Riachu [In reply to] Can't Post

in pokemon yellow i beat riachu with my 7 level lower pikachu because of doubleteam, but thats the only way for that to happen in game, as for the series, moves did different things, and because raichu was evolved to early, not only did it not recieve agility, but if you level pikachu, it gains muhc more speed when it levels up then when a riachu leveled up.

whihc makes me sad that i evolved my scissor to quickly on pokemon pearl....:( now he only gets slow speed ups, least i evolved him after level 50, so he gained correct speed for battle tower....got a little off topic i think.....lol

You are obviously forgetting that it is the game that makes the move agility look worse, not the other way around. game was based on show. Show says agility good. Therefore, by induction, agility is a supercool pokepower.
Thus it is demonstrated.
