i played RSC cause i never liked rs2, so i will be talking about rsc. In rsc, attack and strength brang up hp. so, having high attack and strength gave you health, so you didn't need defense. for example: a person with 40atk, 1dfs, and 73str will be level 52 and have 62 hits. they can hit an 18. a person with 40atk 40dfs and 55str is also level 53, has 47hp and can hit a 14. so, 14+14+14=42 which leaves the pure with 20 hp and then he can eat. it would take 4 hits w/o eating to kill him. 18+18+18=54. that is 7hp over what the other person has. so, a pure would actually win. and with a str pot he can hit 20s, which 3 of those would make 60 and have 13 hp to spare. so in reality a pure usually wins when he has food, cause all he needs is a weapon, a few potions and maybe a ammy, so he can hold a lot of food.
