Why bother wasting time, money, and effort in a completely inferior character and then be proud of it? I thought this was the whole point of Runescape? Whoever spent longer clicking on badly drawn monsters and shooting at targets that don't move, has higher numbers and therefore wins. You click on the other guy and sit there for 5 minutes watching a repetitive "battle" and when you see that lame "bow down and disappear" animation, you win. Everybody is an inferior character except for the one who played longest. One can say the same thing about WoW or EQ or GW or any other online game - it's pretty much the same thing, but with (much) more bells and whistles. What is a game other than pushing and clicking to make a character do something? I don't agree. Yeah, all GAMES are done by pushing and clicking, but this is like comparing the Mario-style "jump on head to kill" to Mortal Kombat. Or like in my sig, "Soldat is just PVP." There is almost nothing to a "battle" in Runescape. Right-click, attack. Wait. Wait... ... wait ... win. Yay. Or... die. Shit, there goes my st00f. Gotta play another month just to earn it back. In most MMOs, the winner of a battle is usually not determined solely by whoever killed the most rats. Thing is, we're comparing two RPG's agianst each other. Runescape is an RPG and WoW's an RPG. Both are combat oriented. As for "Who killed the most rats", well, whoever's got the better gear, tactics, skills, abilities, etc, will always win, no matter how much jumping, running, swinging, whatevering you do. That's pretty much the rule in every MMORPG PvP RPG. Runescape's and WoW's combat system's pretty much the same - there's just a huge difference in the amount of action you see. They both fight, they both hit and deal damage, and as always, one runs away or dies. Of course, there's more than that in the middle, but that's pretty much the point. Soldat is a First Person Shooter - a far cry to similarity of an RPG. OF COURSE Soldat is PvP online - that's the only point of a FPS. However, it's a different situation in Soldat, as they have the same equipment, starting... "stats", and fighting styles. The only thing that tops one player from another is playing skill. That's it. In a PvP RPG, you can't just win on playing skill alone. You seem to hate Runescape a lot... and not because of the obvious reasons...
