And im tired of all these "disabled" people getting up on a stage and reading a speech about equalness that they probably didnt even write,practiced reading for a month, and then on top of it all they dont even really grasp the concept of equality, all they care about is getting up in the morning and getting their special oatmeal with blueberrys in it. so no, no they should not be treated equaly. face it retards, nobody thinks your cute anymore after your balls drop. i dont think there is any way we will ever really be able to treat retards equal and we really shouldnt have to. for one they are [Expletive Deleted]ing up our schools. as said before in this thread, most of them are just taking up space. sorry to put it like that bleak, but its true. teachers are wasting their time "teaching" them things they will never understand. also,they have to take the same exact state assessments that we have to take every year. half of them cant even comprehend simple words, so they fail the test. they still count towards the amount of people at the school that didnt pass, and in turn lower the amount of funding we get for books and computers.. its pure bull[Expletive Deleted]. either make them a special school for their special needs, or keep them at home

I suppose it really depends on the extent of someone being 'retarded' - I have ADD, and sure, it makes life a little harder but I don't have any 'special needs' and have declined any extra help at every turn, I think it's really down to the person to decide wether they want to vbe treated normally or not, but they should accept that being treated normally means no extra help and that if they want extra help, then they should not expect equal treatment.
As for completely braindead people, well, there are people out there that need their organs.
