Should the Obeats pay for two seats?

Of course. For a few reasons.

Economical: Seats cost money - lotsa money. If the Obeat paid for one seat and took up two, you're losing money for one person. Also, chances are that you're overbooking the plane anyway, and this one person is taking up more room than he/she should, which means that more people will be losing their seats - especially if you have more than one Fatty on the plane.

Sure, one Fatty's not that bad, it's only two seats. However, if you have 4 or 6 of 'em, you're losing 12 seats in pairs. Pairs is bolded for a reason. If a Fatty's taking up one seat, and the next one happens to be yours, guess who's lose their seat - YOU!

Convenient, eh?

Safety: Dunno about you, but I'd prefer not to have an Obete literally spilling outta their seat sitting next to me (and I'm tiny). Also, when their's turbulence, I'd rather not have some fatty try to get around my seat and smeeshing me in the process. NO THANKS!

Yeah, I think the Obeats should pay for thier two seats for safety and the major inconvenience and possible loss of flight they cause.

Of course. However, those with very very slow metabolisms that actually have some sense don't sit on their asses and stuffing their faces and then wonder why they have this so-called "Disease".

Some just get that way by thinking of food - I know that. However, they're not bitching about having to buy the two seats they have to pay for...

I had to sit next to an obese guy once.

The person who was to suppose sit next to me didn't turn up and there was this fat ass guy a seat away from me, so we take off and after a minute he basically moves over and says "I'm comfy now"

I turned to the fatty and said "no you can move your fat ass back to your seat and breathe onion breath on that ugly ass bitch over there," he scooched back over and never said a word for the rest of the flight.

But i went to sleep with half a crappy pasta meal left and woke up with an empty plastic plate, fat ass stole my food.

even though i do believe they should pay for the double seats, some really cant help it. Some people are born with a genetic effect, missing a type or cromosome or sumtin, which is the one that tells the brain that the body is full and to stop eating.

I don't think you could literally take up two seats since there's that arm rest dividing the seats, so if a fatas really wants to risk paying damages I guess they should pay for the seats plus the damages.

Now just imagine if your parents felt the same way about you?

If you take up two seats, then yes you should be charged for them. If you can fit in one seat, or your family sits in the same row as you then nope.

I have never seen a boy so fat that he had to take up two seats.

I was in a three seat row with my girlfriend on an airplane, and some fat ass lady sits in the aisle seat.... Needless to say, I couldn't get out of my seat to go to the bathroom... For an 8 hour flight..... DEAR...LORD.... My bladder nearly exploded due to the pressure....

Some people have diseases where food doesn't digest and goes straight to fat. And some people have eating disorders that they can't control because of brain problems.
My cousin has that problem, and she gets really pissed off when people say she's fat because she lazy and doesn't watch what she eats.

They have a disease. They should be working on the effects of that disease, if they want. They have a choice in the matter. If they don't want to, that's their choice - but the airlines shouldn't lose their money because of your disease or overeating or whatever problems you may have with your weight - if you take up two seats, you should pay for two seats. You can't go to a restaraunt and demand two meals because you're obese, and not pay for both of them; same goes with airlines.

It doesn't matter whether you have a disease or if you're just lazy and fat. If you take up two seats, you have to pay for two seats.

Yes, I totally agree with that. If someone is that large, they should have to pay, for the airline's sake. I'm just disagreeing with the fact that people are saying everyone that is fat, are just fat because they are lazy and don't want to do anything about it. I have a friend who is fat, and he plays varsity basketball for my school team, and he eats nothing but salads for lunch and dinner everyday. You really shouldn't judge people like that.

Yeah. It's their fault their fat, and it's their fault that poor guy stranded at the airport isn't on a plane right now because someone larger needs their seat to sit on because he can't squeeze into a normal sized seat.
