If we didn't believe God existed then there would be a lot more murders and crime. A lot more anarchy then we have today. I think religion is a good thing.

Look at all the murders caused sloey because of religion. people want to prove their god is more sympathetic, so they go out and kill all the people who worhip other gods, and then preach peace and harmony.

Religion is one of the worst tings to have happened to earth, IMO. without it, we would still have morals, but someone with a gun doesn't think "owait i gonna go to hell im not gonna shoot this noob"

Well if you don't understand then don't call me foolish. Don't throw logical at me because its perfectly logical. Why do people hesitate when they are about to commit a crime? Most people hesitate because they know its wrong and their religion condemns it. If people didn't believe in a hell, then they wont be afraid of the conseqeunces when they die.

By the way:

Don't base opinions of all religion only off Christianity and Islam. Now thats foolish. More people would die without religion.

Why do people hesitate when they are about to commit a crime? Most people hesitate because they know its wrong and their religion condemns it. If people didn't believe in a hell, then they wont be afraid of the conseqeunces when they die.

1. they hesitate, because it is aginst the law. And they dont want to get caught-they fear worldy punishment. God told people that Jesus died for our sins-he took all the sins past and future, and took them upon himself- and went to hell, for (however many) days, then was reincarnated in a perfect form. Thus, there is no need to fear a hell, because we have all been absolved of our sins.

Yes, people do hesitate because it is against the law. By hell, it varies for relgions. Some relgions consider the earth as hell (sorta). Well, im not a christian so I can't really argue about jesus. the poster was just illustraighting how religion is present in most conflicts. Speaking of that, add the Arab-Isreali conflict to the list

and I can say that that was one of the major reasons, because It was said in one of his press releses. He often makes statmenst about the 'crusaders' (as he calls them) in Saudi Arabai.
