Because he still believes the crusade is going on (I guess hes a dumbass). Anyway, there is no evidence to prove my ideas on "no god". This is my opinion, which I beleive would happen.

without religion, the 9/11 attacks would probally never have happend, Osama hates the US primarily because of their 'infidel' (non Muslim) trrops that are stationed in Saudi Arabai, site of the two holiest sights in islam-Mecca and Medina. There. Modern day religion causing deaths. Without religion, more than 200 000 people would still be alive. (thats icluding the 150 000+ Iraqi civilinas who have been killed so far, and all the civilians who have been killed in afghinistan)
Your grasp of ethics (not to mention your general philosophy) leaves much to be desired. We are stationing our troops in the countries of other nations and involving ourselves in their affairs when it is quite clear that we are not wanted. So an extremist group launches attacks on us because we will not leave. And you blame it on Islam?

Yes, because everyone knows that Britain's unethical treatment of the Irish was not what spawned the divide between seperatists and loyalists at all. It was definitely purely religious.

I was meerely taking my information from what Osama Bin Laden has said. Sure there are other reasons, but one of the ones he uses to recruit the most is the above mentioned one.

It may not have started it, but the fact that the northern irish are protastant, while the southern irish are catholic has lead to a lot of violence.

Your whole overlying assumption that if there were no religions there would be fewer wars is flawed. I would suggest reading A Treatise of Human Nature by Hume.
