Which MMO?	Can't Post

WEll the obvious runner ups would be a choice between Runescape, World of warcraft and guild wars. Which is better and why?

In terms of graphics, Guild Wars beats WoW and Runescape pretty good.
gameplay... well in my opinion, WoW and Guild Wars are tied, they both are very fun. Runescape is reasonable and not very demanding, so it can also be fun.

The player controlling system is better in WoW and GW than in runescape, runescape it's just the "click, click, click" for everything, which gets very boring.

The community in runescape is totally fucked up, in WoW and GW it's very agreeable.

Pricewise, WoW is definitly on the worse side, it's too expensive. Runescape isn't worth it without membership, so obviously you have to pay to really be able to enjoy the game (I should know, I never had a membership). On the plus-side, you don't have to buy the game, it's online. The problem about that is, that some players don't enjoy not having something touchable as a sign of their membership. This is where Guild Wars beats WoW and Runescape: You only have to buy the game, no monthly fee.

My conclusion is, that runescape is good for people who don't like as much excitement, but people who, for instance, play lot's of FPS's usually wouldn't like Runescape. World of Warcraft is about equal to Guild Wars in terms of gameplay, but because of the graphics I would rate it a bit lower. What comes out at the end is, I definitly would choose Guild wars, but the actual argument in the end is preference, not graphics, not gameplay and not the community (or else RS certainly wouldn't be popular at all).

If not: RS.

Well the GAMES kinda depend. Runescape is more popular among younger ( not all ). But i'd say world of warcraft would be for older people, along with GW.

I enjoyed Thang Online for a while.
It's a fair game which is FREE.
Graphics are good, game play is good, sound is good, community is good, the only problem is refining, it's when you upgrade your weapon, armor, to a +1 - +9.
Every time you refine, the chances of your equipment breaking gets higher.
Overall I give it 7/10.

You can't make assumptions like that. I have a friend who's a halo and F.E.A.R. freak, but he plays Oblivion and Guild wars nonetheless.

I think you misunderstood what I said, I said that MMO's aren't necessarily popular because of the community. I didn't mean becoming known in the first place, but getting more popular and more popular.
So if people started playing a game because of the community, they wouldn't be playing Runescape necause the runescape community isn't good.

Well, yes, you do. You download the client every time you load the page. It's just that the game is so wimpy that it takes less than a minute to load that client... which is just a Java applet. Which eats up more resources than a game that wimpy deserves to have.

Sort of. But if what you're concerned about is the time you have to wait to load the game, it's all about the same... whether it's downloading the client for Runescape or loading complex graphics for GW/WoW.
