What action is there to take when the only person that can give us the power TO do something is inactive?

You don't need power like that, you need self control. Self control to be nice to the new users and not flame every mistake that everyone makes. You can change the forum just by a change in attitude.

Most new people to this place look to the vets for guidance, and you can see , that you have been creating monsters.

You can't really blame them, they see you being a vet and how you act, and follow along. That, then, shapes them on this forum, ruining them.

Then they, in return, also treat new users with flaming and insults. I see many potential good members get flamed out by people like darkdark or what ever his name is. They make one tiny mistake or break a rule and what do they get?

That is exactly what I'm talking about. We sit around and complain about Jammer thinking he's the only that can fix us. What can he do? Changing forum softwares wouldn't exactly help our community. It would help our posting but really, when we have this bad of a community, who cares? The crappy software for the crappy forum user community. Jabman once tried to switch us to VB, would that help? No. I mean, it would be easier to get around, but our forum would still suck. Veterans, quit complaining about Jammer and actually do something. Taz believes that our entire community is hopeless, fine. That means if we experiment, no lossage.

Yeah, alright- Ban Scammers, spammers, Advertisers ect. But not newbies, who don't know what they are doing.

I've noticed the majority of newbies don't seem to stay for very long anymore. Most active posters, or so it seems, are Vets/Enths. No users anymore.

I've been trying to tell that to everyone for ages. All we Vets ever do is sit around and complain. When will we actually take any action?

I think WoW is way to expensive. Y would you pay around 30$ to buy the game then 15$ a month? outragous. I think ill stick with paying 5$ a month for RS. Everyone post what you think

Runescape lacks about 85% of what is to be expected in a modern game of its genre

The thing about RuneScape is that, level 3 or level 126, the game is the same. In WoW, you have to EARN the fun, which comes around at about level 20.

I understand people who have that opinion. What I don't understand is people who have that opinion but still like Runescape.

And for the record, most vets are ok, Nad, neo, Tazg( may be kind of mean, but he keeps it under conrol.) and a few more, it's just people like Jindrak that make me angy.

Well I mean all of your statements above were fairly airheaded. Like the one about working for fun. Obviously what that means is the game gets more fun as you progress, whereas Runescape remains stale.
And if we condensed every MMO to a list of features (where graphics is listed as only ONE item), I guarantee you'd find a common theme across all of them, except for Runescape and a bunch of text-based crap where they're missing.
