As for my personal views on it, I say only in Xtreem cases where the patient cannot endure the pain any longer, in any other case where the person in question is not ill, then I say maybe in the future(Watch Soylent Green and you'll see why)

Euthanasia's a little different.


I'm totally for Euthanasia, though. If a person's terminally ill, all they really can do is lay on a bed with a feeding tube looking at people. HOLY CRAP, HE'S ALIVE!!!
No.
He has but a half-life. It saves money and space in the hospital. Seriously. What use do you have to keep a person stuck on a feeding tube with no possible means for communication?

No see: Physician Assisted Suicide is when a person cannot take his pain any longer, and requests to his doctor for some drug to kill himself without pain.

Euthanasia is pulling out the plug on the feeding tube when a person is terminally ill with about 2% chance of recovery.

Nope, Euthanasia is the practice of putting someone down, possibly even in cases where the person in question is not terminally ill.

It's usually ended with lethal injections. I know this because I've had my grandfather on my mothers side subjected to Euthanasia when he couldn't even open his eyes.

Also, Yonsei has a huge Medical school. I used to walk by Building 4(where they keep the terminally ill patients) and every now and then you would be able to see them trolley the person intended for Euthanasia out to a indoor garden with a sunlight where they do the injections.

Simply removing life support can cause needless pain on the patients part.
The "removing life support" only really works for those that are brain dead.

Hmm... I'd say that the terminally ill thing and what you're talking about is both part of Euthanasia. Basically, it's medically killing someone for their sakes. I've heard Euthanasia debated many times, and they usually focus on terminally ill patients, so I dunno.
