How do I become a Moderator?

The Moderators for the site are selected from the Veteran Community.
To become a moderator: - An existing Veteran will be able to be nominated to become a Moderator by one of the current Moderators.
- Consent of the nominee must be obtained by the nominating Moderator prior to any nominations going to the Mod Controller.
- After being nominated a poll will be made in the Moderator Election forum where the Veterans will vote.
- These polls will last one week (7 days) and will require a 70% Yes vote to succeed.
- After the voting is through the poll will be archived and the nominee advised and if the poll was successful made Moderator of the specified forums.
- Existing Moderators can also nominate themselves to moderate other forums - elections are held in the same manner to elect existing moderators to new forums as to elect new moderators.
