How do I become a Veteran?

You must be nominated by an existing Veteran to be considered as a Veteran. You should therefore make yourself known to them via good quality posting. When an Existing Veteran thinks you are worthy of being a Veteran, they will approach the Veteran Controller and ask for a poll to be made - Only people that have posted enough to become an "Enthusiast" will be considered. Before nominating you the The Veteran may look at a cross section of your posts to make sure you haven't broken any of the Forum Rules (including spamming to get your post count up) and that you are posting quality posts.
For your posts to be considered as quality you must be consistently providing input and ideas and contributing to the discussions or answering questions. Simple replies to any and every post does not constitute quality posts and may be used to vote against you by other Veterans.
When a Veteran decides that he or she wishes to nominate you, they will send you a private message alerting you of your nomination. You should send a reply confirming whether you want to be nominated. An Election will be held for you where all existing Veterans will vote to accept you or not. This will take 1 Week. If 70% or more Veteran's Votes accept you then you will become a Veteran. If not - you will stay an Enthusiast.
The whole process should take 1-2 weeks and the Nominating Veteran should keep you informed on your progress. Once complete your Election Poll results will be published in Veteran Election Results Forum.
