Well, I was tired of delays. So I decided to post this. For those of you who are too lazy to read, just at least read Jabman's addition in the very end of the Tribune. So, without further notice, I bring you, the FGF Tribune.

What is the Tribune?
The FGF Tribune is an online publication that we’ve put together so that everyone in the FGF community can hear about some of the more interesting goings-on in the forum. We sure as hell don’t want to bore you to death, so if you don’t like what you see, stop reading now. Otherwise, let’s begin.

Hello, and welcome to another exciting advent-- Hahaha, you thought reading was exciting for a second there.
Alright, let's begin.
Ladies, gentlemen, worms, Asians, radios, aliens, hackers, kitties, Indians, whitefolk, brothas, emos, and goths, I hope you are all well. Well, not the Veterans, but you normal, everyday users.

Yeah, I'm out of here. I haven't even visited the forum in days.
I've decided to leave. When looking at your posts, the words that come into my mind are 'incompetance' and 'utterly in need of school.' Some of you that is not the case; but a vast majority of you, it is.
I have become more known in my school. The High School has gone very well for me so far this year. And I've come to realize that I simply cannot relate to people of incompetance compared to me. At least, incompetant to my own accord.
That combined with the fact that I have become very busy now. Between doing homework, holding a job, and running a mail service, I haven't the time to be here talking to some children (or teenagers with childish minds) who refuse to open up their eyes.
I'm not mentioning names; I'm not saying you all are stupid and worthless. I'm saying that many of you need to grow up, and start learning how to deal with it. Learning better English would be nice too, but mostly getting away from your childish thoughts.

Tribune Report Of the RS Forums

Kingsfan1300 AKA Calin
Now, where do I start? I think I’ll go with his personality overall, before I actually start talking about his behaviour on forums. Well, the place I see him most is on IRC [#FGF] where he will first act as if in control of all regular users, ban inappropriately, and when somebody who is not very well known there makes him feel stupid, guess what he does. Hmm, I’m smarter than you because I can do this! *Bans* Now, behaviour on forums and how others react to his posts. For some reason, he is worshipped in the RS forums, which I think is strange because he was a scammer himself at one point. Classified as FGF’s king of pomposity.
Darkforcer
This guy just makes me lol. If a guy posts a topic, selling an item on rs, which is 10gp more than what it should be (z0mg) this guy MUST point it out. In every thread, you’ll find a post by him criticising something minor. If somebody is selling a rune plate over priced, fine nobody will buy it from him, but do you HAVE to post saying it is overpriced unless you actually want to buy it. Here is some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, if you want everybody to stop hating you, just DO NOT BOTHER GIVING ANYBODY ELSE CRITICISM THEY DO NOT NEED. Classified as master of bull [Expletive Deleted] criticism.
Master Hacker
This is one of the cooler runescape players. He is a mighty skiller of the game, and is the opposite of Calin or Darkforcer. Never bothers giving any criticism other than constructive ones, and is not the king of pomposity. Classified as cool and very trustworthy.
Programmer S
Err, I just chose a random name and thought what the hell. He is just sorta there, in the small talks. One post a thread, etc. Active but not one to post much. Classified as cool but from dirty north.
Memino
Now this is one of the users who can change FGF for good. With more people like him, FGF will be removed from the ‘dark era’ and back into more of an interesting time. Too bad this guy was supposed to be back, but is again inactive. Man, this guy is entertaining. Switching from intellectual Memino, to mega dense Memino. Classified as awesome.
LGLS
Now, where to start. This is one of the more trust-worthy users of FGF. Done a few bits and bobs on my account for meh, very trusted by everybody else in the RS forums. Not much to say apart from he’s a cool guy who loves omelette. Classified as Jacktotheson.
Emma Bo Bemma
Liked by many in the RS forums, mainly because she got a good account on the game, but being liked doesn’t make you smart, which is definitely something she lacks. Ever thought it was possible to match gre dork’s general lack of intelligence? Well, this girl has done it. I don’t really take notice of her on forums generally, but she’s just…dumb. Just plain, dumb. Another one I see on IRC, thinks US is the best. I bet she has never left the USA, or doesn’t even know anything about any other country, but to her, US automatically becomes the best country in the world, simply because she lives there. It’s funny how some people are sooo dense. She seriously has 0% knowledge on how to debate, and looks for alternate decisions (*Cough*bans*cough*) when made a fool out of (which is not very hard at all.) Best to just keep quiet instead of trying to make opinion based comments seem like a fact, kk?

Why do the 07’ threads suck?

Amid the countless taco crumbs that have accumulated over my rigid desk, I’ve somehow managed to discover my keyboard once more. But this contraption has gotten me thinking that someway we could use these bad boys to do good, instead of posting like fat kids unleashed in a park with a FREE hot dog stand.
I’ve dug deep into the vault of FGF Holiness to bring you a few Q & A’s from the people who’ve actually lived and experienced quality threads.
But first, here are a few quotes from a thread that inspired me to write this article.
“What has happened to you people? I've seen the stupidest threads over the past week that I've never seen before.”
“This is worse than a depression. This is the worst thing that could happen to this forum.”

Those words, as ”depressing” as may be, may be short-lived. I tagged along the Internet to find the one who would make my interview most enjoyable. Along with the answers he responded with came wisdom and remarkable insight.
Me: So why do you think FGF threads suck nowadays?
TazG: Well, nowadays, the reason is that it has momentum. They started sucking, and they keep going that way because people who suck enjoy that sort of thing. And people who don't enjoy it have stopped posting, thus, there are no threads left other than the ones started and sustained by those who suck. As for why the trend started in the first place, I'm not sure. But let's just blame Aroy for it, because it feels good.
Me: What are your views for going about fixing FGF, for good.
TazG: It's not going to happen anymore because the people who can aren't into it, and people with phonetically incorrect names are replacing them. Or similar retardation of our once noble language. Such as splintrkillz, ownage, and iluvmyhorse.
Me: Do you think a lack of decent Administration has something to do with it?
TazG: It has something to do with why the trend started, but if that changes now, it's too late. A decent administrator would not leave a Tibia forum up for years.
Me: People see you generally as an intelligent person, but most see you as a tyrant. Some think you have the potential to change this forum single-handedly. Do you agree, and if so, elaborate.
TazG: That most see me as a tyrant is an illusion. Really, it's just that most people who have anything to say about me think I am; and those who don't, don't have a lot to say. Nobody can change the forum singlehandedly.
Me: We'll hope the readers can interpret that correctly. Thanks. Anything you'd like to say before we wrap his up?
TazG: And I would like to add that I hate Dr. Phil. And iPods.
Me: Apple, or iPods in general?
TazG: iPods.
So basically this “slump” that we’re in is most likely going to get worse if we don’t re-unite, if in fact we ever did in the first place, we’re going to become a Sythe-oriented forum. At one time FGF was a place of excitement and undiscovered possibilities, now that same painting is diminishing.
