Batman was freaking amazing. I waited around a week or so to see it because the theaters sold out too quickly. But I must say, Christian Bale played Batman wonderfully, and Heath Ledger immortalized himself with the part of the Joker. How chilling he played the part was actually my favorite part of the entire movie. There were kids in costumes but I felt far from them. They were dressed for a party but I was in line for something like a funeral. The posters said "Batman" but I was in line to say some strange goodbye to a guy I never met. I give it like a 9.7/10, because no movie is perfect, but damn close. "All in all, the role that Ledger saw to his grave should be buried along with him. No actor could ever again inflict such complete terror with such understated acting, as a character that by nature is a caricature of human evil. It is perhaps the only fitting farewell from an audience so reluctant to do so- a final blaze of glory for an actor now immortalized in tragedy, playing a role that will undoubtedly be glorified in cinematic magnificence."
