It's hardly an issue about the shrinkage anymore, except now people are paranoid about the notion that General is taking over because of all the activity it gets.

Come to think of it... I would do almost the same things as you if I was admin... Except I wouldn't let RS lie and bleed... I'd nail it to a cross, and if it takes too long to die, I'd shoot it.

Better than letting it run wild.
