Image by Katiuscaa Welcome. The FGF Tribune is an online publication dedicated to keeping the members of the Free Games Forum up to date on what is going on. The articles for issue for #1 are now complete, and it will be posted in two days. Please post here if you would like to be added or removed from any of the positions. Current Staff: Editor In Chief leads the Tribune writing team, and works with the other editors to edit the paper and keep the quality standards high Me, Real1ty Senior Editor is the second in command, so to speak, of the editor in chief. I will help with editing and putting together the articles, and will take over management of the paper in case our editor in chief, Silvera isn't here. Neocloud101 Editors help to make sure the Tribune stays up to par, and set the standards high. Jabman Writers the regular columnists for The FGF Tribune Neocloud101 -Gossip Demosthenes -News Contributing Writers These are special contributers, which have the same job as writers, but are not required to write articles for every single issue. If you'd like to be a contributing writer, just send me or Silvera your article, and we will include it, if it is of sufficient quality. Since anyone can have their article included, our contributing writers will get their credit within the Tribune itsself. The Graphics Department Katiuscaa Peon Basically, this person is around so everyone is able to tell someone what to do. They aren't really required to do anything. Skanky! Assistant Peon Even the Peon can tell this person what to do. They've screwed us all over, which has earned them this position. Silvera Article Types The first thing I realized is that this is never going to work if we don't get groups. Otherwise, we're going to get a bunch of crappy articles that are all supposed to be funny, and we're not going to get anywhere. GOSSIP (2-4) - This is where you can screw around a LITTLE bit. Most of it has to be based on something though. For instance, you can't just go out and say "LOL XBOT R PEDOPHILE". It's not funny, then, because it's completely random and has no relevance to anything going on in the forum. However, if Xbot has been asking somebody for an address for a COMPLETELY NORMAL REASON, THEN you call him a pedophile, it'll be more of a witty-funny than stupid-funny. Of course, we all need some random crap thrown in our faces once in a while, so I'm fine with it every now and then. NEWS (2-4) - Facts, bitches, facts. New veteran interviews, notices, alerts of dangers, 'welcome backs', etc. We need semi-serious people in this section. If you're too serious, though, I'm going to headbutt you in the ovaries. OBITUARIES (N/A) - Okay, this probably isn't going to happen often, but if somebody "leaves" (notice the quotes) FGF, we can put their name in here, and give them a respectful farewell. SPORTS (2) - FORUM is to SPORTS as WORDS is to BALLS (lol, testies). I haven't exactly thought out how this will work, but I think it'll be a fun idea. We'll put up a debate in every issue for you guys to mind-boggle over. RANDOM COLUMNS (N/A) - You know how this goes. FEATURE OF THE WEEK (1) - The best (a.) post or (b.) thread of the week. We'll put your name in gold if you win! Yeah. You'll be PRETTY. The number in the (parentheses) means (on average) how many articles we should have in each issue. Each reporter will be responsible for getting THEIR OWN INFORMATION. Announcements WRITING AND GRAPHICS DESIGN POSITIONS NOW CLOSED: We have decided to accept no more writers or graphic designers, for the time being. If you would like to join, you can still join as a contributing writer, or editor. Also, we will most likely have more positions available after we come out with our first issue. ATTENTION ALL EDITORS AND GRAPHIC DESIGNERS: We need to get in touch with all of you, since we now know exactly what's going in the Tribune. The writers have finished their articles, and all we have left is to edit and illustrate them.
