It's not 15 year old in the video game market. If it were, we wouldn't have had Super Mario on the NES back then, would we?

They didn't invent anything. They took 15 year old technology and shipped it with their system as a single unit. That's all they did. And considering the fact that all GAMES can be played just fine with any other controller as well, they didn't exactly "revolutionize gaming", now, did they? If they had truly added a new aspect to GAMES or invented a new genre then yes they would deserve the praise. But they haven't. And don't say they made a difference by making the technology available to consumers for the first time. They didn't. It already was.

I have. In fact I HAVE a remote for my computer. IT'S SITTING ON MY DESK RIGHT NOW. But anyway I wasn't specifically talking about remotes, I mean the "3D mouse" technology. Motion sensor. Etc. It's OLD.

Media Center Edition? Hell, back when I had an ancient Compaq Presario with Windows 95, a 133MHz Pentium and probably 16MB of RAM at the most, I had a remote for it. I could control the mouse arrow, send it into sleep mode, use Compaq Phone Center with the computer's built-in speakers and mic, and EVERYTHING. I gotta find a page for that old thing. Yeah I had a computer remote before most of you could walk. And it rocked ass.

The Wii technically isn't innovative or revolutionary. Nintendo are just the first people with enough balls to try to make a console with the technology. I never said it wasn't fun.

The point is, I could have played GAMES with a wiimote-ish controller on any compy ages ago if I wanted to. Because it existed, was available to the public, and was compatible.

Yeah I think I pretty much confirmed that--

My laptop has an infrared port on the front. I wonder where I could get some cheap remote to work with it.

Yeah, it has ridiculously low system requirements and loads entirely into RAM, like DSL or Puppy Linux. I'm burning a CD for it now, though I don't have any particular uses in mind. I'll probably run it in Virtualbox on my laptop to try it out.
