Well it's pretty hard to replicate, but don't tell anybody.
Start out by filling your glass with an inch or two of water. Then add lemon and lime juice (more lime than lemon) until it looks sorta greenish yellow. Add cane sugar 1/3 of the way up the liquid. Add 1 or 2 shots of agave tequilla. It MUST be agave tequilla- I prefer milago and 1800. Now add 1/4 shot of orange liqueur. Gran Gala is the best for this, though you can substitute it for whatever. Add 1/2 to 1 shot of Paul Masson brandy. This will give it a nice vanilla flavor. Now add as much ice as you can and stir the hell out of it.
Grats, now you have a kickass margherita.
