Guys, Safety First when riding your bikes

I nearly got into an accident on my bike the day before yesterday. Kind of put the fear of God in me. I was going to pass 2 stalled cars (1 of them a taxi) parked on the double yellow lines one behind the other my left and suddenly the taxi just shoot out. I guess it was not stalled. Luckily, I jammed on the brake (though not fully as I let the ABS assist) and managed to stop in time without going over the handlebars. The taxi driver just ignored the incident and assumed it was my fault. I just want to remind my fellow bikers to be more careful on the road especially from potential accident situations like this. Many car drivers just do not understand that they need to be extra careful when bikes are on the road. Ride safe and ride fast, but ride carefully. Thanks
