I bought a wii, as you already know. It was bought in Germany. I installed a wiikey so I could play games bought in the american continent.

But here's the thing: Even with the wiikey, if an american game tries to install an update, I cannot proceed with it, or else it [Expletive Deleted]s with the video game. I have to either install the update using an european game or download it using the internet. Well, I downloaded it and installed it.

I tried to play guitar hero after that, and it still tries to install the goddam update.

Question is: wth?

By the way, this is "support", innit?

"Support" as in this is the new Suggestions forum. I told Jammer it would be confusing.

PC Support was moved to another category.

Nintendo was quick to make Wiikeys useless by disabling their functions through their own proprietary updates. You're out of luck.

So if I perform the update using an european game, I still won't be able to play the american guitar hero? That wouldn't make much sense, since I am able to play red steel and nba live.
