Heres a millions guide i got recently I hope im alowed to post it if im not plz warn me. Its not copyright soo....! here ya go enjoy. ================================================================================================ During my many journeys across the not-so-vast lands of Runescape, one question has followed me wherever I go. "Hey, you're one handsome dude, how'd you make all your money?" Usually I'd reply by not replying at all and passing on while leaving the level 15 behind in her Iron Armour. "I take back what I said, you're even hotter than I thought!" is what they would call out as I continued on. But back on topic, I shall explain how I became a multimillionaire (12.5 million or so to be precise) and my tips on getting rich. Here are the basics and I'll explain each point. 1. Buy low, sell high- I can't stress this one enough. 2. Money will always have the same value, items, however, are forever changing in value... 3. INVEST in items. 4. Stay updated on all prices. 1. Buy low, sell high- Ok first one, this is probably the most important and will make you hundreds of thousands when you have some money to spend. It's a pretty simple concept yet so effective. Example: Buy a Rune Platebody for 60k, sell it for 65k. There's an easy 5k profit there. Second Example: Buy a Red Party Hat for 40 mill, sell it for 45 mill. That's an easy 5 mill profit... Yet you ask, "Where the hell am I supposed to get 7 mill?" You could try and buy a lot of Rune Plates for 60k and sell them for 65k, but that would take a LONG time. So here I'll get you started. Think of one of the following skills that you'd like to make money from and raise at the same time: Woodcutting Mining Smithing Fishing Cooking These are the main industries in Runescape that are worthwhile. Woodcutting may seem pretty pointless but once you can cut Yew trees...whoooeeee! Yew logs sell for 300 each. By the time you can cut them, you'll have yourself a pretty decent highscore and are set to become a full fledged fletcher (Try saying that one 5 times really fast) if you ever choose to become a member. I added Mining and Smithing separately because it depends on how you want to go about this one. You could just work on Mining and sell the ores to people for some pretty reasonable prices or even better, you could work on 2 skills at once, Mining and Smithing, and sell whatever you make. Currently I am going to make 1400 Steel Plates to get my Smithing to 70. Then I shall use the High Level Alchemy Spell on them, which gives 1200 coins per Steel Plate, do the math and that's 1400 x 1200 which gives you the grand whopping total of (drum roll please)...1,680,000 coins. That's almost 1.7 mill, not a bad profit, eh? The same rules apply to Fishing and Cooking. Some people buy fish raw while others prefer them cooked. I never really relied on those 2 skills as a profit since they are extremely slow ways to go about making money on Runescape 2. Go to Karamja, fish lobsters, walk all the way back to Falador, deposit the lobsters, go back to Karamja and repeat. As you can see it isn't exactly the most efficient way of doing things. So you can use these methods until you have enough to buy a holiday item, which I'll explain below. 2. Money will always have the same value, items, however, are forever changing in value...- Ok this is one of the key things I did to make money. I bought items, mostly holiday ones, and waited until their price went up to sell them. For example when I took my break from Runescape I had bought a Red Party Hat for 3 million coins previously, when I came back to Runescape, I sold it for 6 million coins. Let's see, the profit that I made would be double what I payed! This is a very effective way of making money once you have saved up. Start small with Santa Hats until you have enough for masks, then just have patience my friend while you sit on your hands and watch your items rise in value. 3. INVEST in items.- In a way, this one ties in with the second method, except here you can choose any item that you think has a chance of making it big. The key here is for bigger results, the longer you must wait. So for a Party Hat...If you really wanted to make a profit, buy one and wait for months before selling it. dry.gif Sure it will take a while, but the results are definitely worth it. Though, there are some risks to this. Take this instance for example, in Runescape Classic, the prices of Party Hats went down considerably when someone found out how to duplicate them. This was the time that I bought my Party Hats, and luckily for me, they weren't duplicates. But if you were owning a Party Hat at that time, you really did suffer because the prices reached an all time low that year. So beware, there are some risks but it will probably never happen again as Runescape has fixed that bug. 4. Stay updated on all prices.- Once you do have an expensive item make sure that you stay updated on the price of it. Make it a habit to visit Varrock in World 1 so that you are always on top of the current prices and will not lose money by selling your item for less than what it's worth. Items, Days, and Times In this section I will teach you the tecniques and advantages of merchanting. 1. Items to merchant with a. Runes b. Fish c. Ores d. Bars e. Rares A. Runes This is a recommended way of merchanting but it takes FOREVER. Most people recommend it, but I don't. It takes forever because you can never buy enough at a time, and that almost all people know the regular prices of the runes. Chaos~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Deaths ^^^^^Recommended Runes, but will also take forever to buy from people^^^^^ 1. Chaos-To merchant with chaos runes, you must buy at only one price.... and that would be 100each. You try to buy from people at this price and they will either call you a noob or tell you to F off. You should buy it from the store OR buy it off of noobs. Its a recommendation to become a member for this skill because its craftable. Find a noob who can craft them, tell him you'll pay him 100ea. If he says yes, tell him you'll be his perm. buyer, if he says no... Well, everyone has his own way for this. Deaths are probably the hardest. One Word: Don't even think about it Current Price List for Runes(will be updated monthly for FREE) 1. Air=10-30gp each 2. Fire=10-25gp each 3. Body=10(don't dream of merchanting with this...) 4. Water=10-25gp each 5. Earth=10-20gp each 6. Chaos=100-150gp each 7. Death=200-300gp each B. Fish=Also not recommended, since most people can already fish their own fish, just buy lobsters for upto 150gp each, sell for 200-300gp each. All I can say for this way. Current Price List for Fish(will be updated monthly for FREE) 1. Tuna=100gp each 2. Lobsters=200-200gp each 3. Swordfish=300-400gp each C. Ores: Very recommended. I could make about 50-100k a day when I was F2P! The most recommended is coal, just plain old coal. Buy for 100gp each on worlds with 1000-1600 people on. Use an autotalker with a hotkey (Included) and type "flash2:wave:buying all coal, 100gp each-----<your name here> and you will actually get alot of customers. After you get about 2-3k coal, sell them for 150-200gp each (coal prices have most of a chance risen) and you'll get a good 50- 100k per 1k coal! I don't recommend merchanting with iron because if you get about 1-2k, you'll only get a 50k profit :\ If you would like to merchant with iron, buy for only 50-75gp each. You should also mine iron because of the profit/mining exp. that you get from it. Current Price List for Ores(will be updateded monthly for FREE) 1. Iron=100gp each 2. Coal=150-200gp each 3. Mithril=300-400gp each 4. Adamantite=400-550gp each 5. Runite=10-15k gp each D. Bars: Merchanting with bars is pretty boring and hard, but profitable. Just buy 1k iron ores for 100gp each(100k), and 2k coal for 150gp each(300k) and easily get a 150k profit from smelting them into bars. You will get both a profit and exp. Mithril and Addy... I wouldn't say they're good, buy they are kind of.. Buy 1 Mithril Ore for 300gp, 3 coal for 150 gp each(450gp) and make a bar. They usually go for about 1k each. With Addy buy 1 addy ore for 500gp, 4 coal for 600gp and sell the bar for 1.5-2k. Not much profit, buy good exp. E. Rares: Merchanting rares will probably make you the richest alive, but the bad thing is... it takes time. To buy rares you must have alot of money. 1.5 mill is probably best to start off with. Buy an easter egg for 1.2 mill. Wait a month or two, sell it for 2-2.5 mill=Easy 1mil profit. When you're waiting for your rare's prices to rise, merchant more! Then when you sell your rare, you'll have enough money for better rares. I'd always suggest rares that are eatable, because they decrease constantly. But then, all rares decrease. A santa is probably best to merchant with, because christmas is probably the most celebrated holiday of the year. Then comes halloween masks-halloween. Phats are probably the hardest because there is no holiday for them, but they still rise alot. Here is a list of all the rares included in runescape and they're prices - Santa Hat-4.5mil-5mil - Pumpkin-2-4mil - Easter Egg-1.2-2.4mil - Green Halloween Mask-4.9-5.7mil - Blue Halloween Mask-5.9-7.4mil - Red Halloween Mask-7.9-9.2mil - Purple Party Hat-28-31mil - Yellow Party Hat-29-31mil - Green Party Hat-35-37mil - Red Party Hat-37-41mil - White Party Hat-48-52mil - Blue Party Hat-68-70.5mil - Christmas Cracker-57-62mil - Disk of Returning-2-5mil - Half-wine-50-70mil Merchanting Tips: If someone doesn't accept, just decline and walk away two steps, ya, i've heard that one alot too... IT BARELY WORKS! There are thing you should add on. Decline-->Walk Away-->Repeat what your selling.-->Pretend saying "ty" and "thx" and "np dude" alot-->after about 5-10mins, ask them "is business goin' well?". Most of a chance they'll give in. ===============================================================================================
