Actually, it's just a hacker who used Athrin's account. Taz told me that Jammer checked, and it was Athrin's account that was used to unban all those people in General. Plus, he showed me some hacking docs, or whatever. I have reason to believe that it's the same guy who hacked Fishy, Memino, and SMI a while ago, when the goatse avatar was put on SMI, some may remember that.

What? I know about that but I was talking about mod attacks in the Vet's forums. Even if one did occur it would probably happen only once as we would know exactly who's account was responsible, we should back up stuff too so not much gets lost...

Well, the account used for the General hacking is Athrin's. That's not the hard part to figure out. And I doubt using one or using another is hard for a hacker with any skill at all. I dunno, really. But it's who is doing the hacking, who is the problem, in'tit? And thanks to that proxy they use while hacking, there's not much of a chance to figure it out.

I thought the reason that it took so long to solve the problem in General was because we didn't know who it was due to Jammer's inactivity...

I was thinking that if a mod attack in the Vet's forums did occur LGLS could simply change his password.

Problem solved.

Or not... I guess it depends on what type of hacking?

Anyways. If your account is hacked by anyone with half a brain, the only way you're getting it back is to prove to Jammer that you are you. You can't 'just change [your] password'.
