This would be even better if it weren't for the uneducated folks who are probably thinking CGI forum means low graphics, simplicity, etc., and PHP forum means changing the look and feel of everything - in which case they would be missing the point entirely.

EDIT: And sadly, our admin is probably among these presumptuous simpletons.

First warning Tazg - I do not have to stand your (or anyone elses) abuse here.

Excuse me Jammer? Have you really gotten so desperate as to label the criticism of your skill as abuse? In my mind this is just a way of blowing it off. Had I verbally abused you by attacking your character, it would be different. I have not. The fact remains - you have proven that you have little knowledge of the software, and are ignorant of the facts which have been given to you. This is shown by your statements in Athrin's thread, "I understand this software maynot be your favorite, but I can't see what any of those other systems do - that this doesn't," and "I would rather put my time into working with the community on developing how we need to shape this place - not what colour it is or what version of software it runs on," among other things. I also recall once having to point out to you the "Detach and Move" link because you didn't know how to do it yourself. I believe my perception of your abilities and knowledge is rather well-founded. It's appalling that you would choose to use your authority to shift the focus away from addressing your very apparent incompetence, and just make me look like a bad guy for actually caring more about forming a better forum than, from my point of view and most everyone else's, you yourself care to. What exactly does this "warning" mean, Jammer? Are you planning on removing my moderator status? If so... Well, so much for caring about the state of the community. You would be depriving them of a very, if not the most, active moderator, just because you have personally taken offense to something he said. And that is very foolish.

Tazg - If you think you can play your word GAMES to make statement like this you are more arrogant than I thought you were.

You think I must be popular here for this site to be viable. I do not see the link between owning and operating this site and being as active in it as others. Your stupidity is apparent in you inability to see this also.

You are obviously also very stupid to expect direct abuse of my position and a total lack of respect in a public forum. But then again I am of course only commenting on your skills and not directly attacking you in any way.

You need more than the respect of the general community to hold your positions of responsibility.

Jammer, you are missing my point. You are, basically, not a member of this community. Because you never post in it, and you never really know what we want. You aren't paying attention. You just say you don't see the point of making the changes we want. Because that's convenient for you. You are also making assumptions about the views I hold. And, you are wrong when you say your attack was only on my skills. That was an unfair comparison to make me look stupid. Jammer, if you are not an active part of this community, please recognize it. Please recognize that you don't know what it needs as well as you think. Also recognize that being the owner and operator of this site does not automatically mean that you have all the best knowledge and foresight concerning it. There are members here who know more than you about these things, namely Athrin, and you need to accept that. Start trusting our advice more instead of thinking you know all you need to know. We're trying to get you to make improvements and all you see is a rebellion that you need to quell. No. And again, I do not intend to abuse you. I am only exposing the fact that you are ignorant concerning this topic. I can't help it if you interpreted that as a completely negative and unacceptable thing. I for one believe that it should not be ignored if you truly wish to make this forum / community the best that you can.

I am a member of the community - I am not as prolific as others - so what? My role here has never been as a user/enthusiast/veteran. I provide the head of the government and as such I have a different part to play.

You could all vote for me to light my hair on fire because it would look better - that does not mean I should or would do it?

Its sad that you feel the need to use a combination of alienation and abuse to build yourself up as a great warrior sticking it "to the man".

This place will be much better when you realise we are all on the same side.

*scratches head*
Could you please re-read my post? That's exactly the message I was trying to give to you.

Look. You still don't see what I'm saying. I'm not alienating you, I'm saying you shouldn't alienate yourself. I am not abusing you and I told you I'm sorry if you took it that way.

Again, you're making unfair comparisons to make me look stupid. If someone suggested that you light your hair on fire, that person would be an idiot. Athrin is not an idiot. He knows what he's talking about, and you should begin to consider the fact that he does know more than you on this subject.

For the last time, my point is not to abuse you in the way you are making it seem. I am saying that you don't know enough about this - that seems to be the case based on the way you respond to us whenever we bring this sort of thing to your attention.

This place will be much better when you realize we are all on the same side, Jammer.
